Ethiopian National Day Celebrated [Archives:2001/22/Local News]

Ethiopia celebrates May 28, 2001 its national day which marks an end to the dictatorial military regime and establishment of democratic system of governance. Ethiopians both at home and in the Diaspora celebrate this historic day with a lot of enthusiasm.
The Ethiopian Ambassador to Yemen Mr. Teketel Forssido says “The occasion is celebrated in similar manner here in Sana’a today by members of the Ethiopian embassy and thousands of Ethiopians residing in Yemen. All the members of the diplomatic community as well as the citizens of our friendly country Yemen also join us in this historic celebration.”
