Excellent-Division Basketball Tournament Resumed [Archives:1998/39/Sports]

A regular meeting of the Yemeni Basketball Association was held last Thursday at the Ministry of Youth and Sports, presided over by Mr. Al-Khidhr Al-Azzani, the association’s president and member of parliament.
The action plan for the remainder of 1998 was discussed. It was decided that the qualifier games for the excellent division governorates’ champions should start on 20 October. It was a also decided to resume the basketball general tournament games and the postponed Al-Hilal club matches, as follows:
Al-Hilal vs Al-Zohra 2-10-98
While 8th week games are as shown in the table. Ninth week matches will begin on 26 October, 1998.
