Expected Deficit Revealed [Archives:2000/44/Local News]

The Yemeni government expected the deficit in the general budget of the State for the next year to recede by 6.0% of the budget volume. The general budget expenditures reached 501 billion rials and the revenues 487 billion rials with a deficit of 14 billion and 38 million rials after the it was 2,99% of the Gross Domestic Product for the year 2000.
