Female Prisoners conditions to be discussed [Archives:2002/27/Local News]

Under the auspices of the Minster of Human Rights, Dr. Waheeba Farae and the Red Cross is organizing a seminar on Assisting Female Prisoners in Yemen to be held on July 3 2002.
The seminar will discuss the role of the Red Cross assisting female prisoners in Yemen and challenges that they might face. A number of societies and organizations have been entrusted with the responsibility to aid female prisoners. These groups include the Arab Sisters Forum, the National Women Committee, the Human Rights for Information & Training Center, Yemen Women’s Union, Aden and the Yemeni Red Cross, Hodiedah. A number of people involved with this field will participate in the seminar.
