Fires destroy two homes in Taiz [Archives:2004/779/Local News]

Fire broke out on September 30th in Mohammed Al-Raimi's home, chief of Wadi Al-Qadhi neighborhood in the city of Taiz. It was started by his young daughter who was playing with matchsticks. Firemen and the police rushed to the scene where furniture was left completely burned.
Coincidently, another fire was initiated in Ali Al-Ba'adani's home in Al-Shamasi area, Taiz. A container of a flammable chemical had been placed next to the gas-stall. This carelessness ended up causing the loss of most of the house furniture.
