First eye diseases camp comes to a close [Archives:2002/10/Local News]

The first eye diseases camp organized by the People General Congress (PGC) from Feb. 25 to March 3, in Taiz ended yesterday with a high attendance of eye patients.
Specialized eye doctors conducted different eye operations for the patients free of charge, Sheikh Jabir Abdulah Ghalib, an MP and chairman of the PGC’s branch, told Yemen Times.
He added that this camp was made so as to help the poor in the district to have a free but yet a reliable medical service that should be taken as an example.
