For 2005Yemen Mobile gets new services [Archives:2005/804/Business & Economy]
The Yemeni state-owned communication company Yemen Mobile is launching new services for Yemeni subscribers in the New Year 2005 and the beginning of Al-Adha Eid.
The State Establishment of Communications says the new services will be offered beginning this month. One deal will enable ten friends to subscribe as a group to Yemen Mobile at a price lower than that outside the group.
The service also includes calls with reduced prices within each family group.
This service will be used by employees working for establishments and companies.
So subscribers would be designated with distinguishing mark and a shortened number and reduction in telephone calls prices.
Yemen Mobile will also begin offering an internet service to its subscribers enabling owners of Yemen Mobile telephone sets browse the internet from anywhere inside the country.
The establishment has set one user name and password fixed for all subscribers.
Yemen Mobile has also decided to cancel pager services and subscribers would be offered free of charge Suhail SIM cards enabling them subscribe to Yemen Mobile service provided that the pager number was registered.
