SANA'A, May 25 ) Scientists recently announced the discovery of the first dinosaur tracks on the Arabian Peninsula, the first discovery of its kind in the region. The fossilized footprints were discovered in the bedrock in Yemen near a village called Madar, about 50 kilometers north of the capital Sana'a, said sscientists, who added that the footprints date back 150 million years.
According to Anne Schulp of the Maastricht Museum of Natural History in the Netherlands, “It's the first time we've found dinosaur tracks in the Arabian Peninsula
