French Warships Arrive at Hodeidah [Archives:2000/21/Local News]
Last Saturday, 3 French Navy warships arrived at Hodeidah’s port. The following day, Mr. Patrice Doyo Monbran, Commander of the French Navy Forces in the Indian ocean arrived in Sana’a on a two-day visit to Yemen to participate in May 22 celebrations marking Yemen unity.
The 3 French visiting warships consist of command ships and the supply ship “FAR” stationed in the Indian ocean. Staff Commander of the French Navy Forces is on board. The fleet includes a surveillance frigate in addition to the warship for landing marines and DAG tanks.
