Furthering Cooperation Between Yemen and Germany [Archives:1998/45/Local News]

As result of the Government Consultations on Development Cooperation between Yemen and Germany, which took place in Sanaa on October 28 and 29, it was agreed to further strengthen bilateral cooperation and to continue with projects in priority sectors such as water and waste management, vocational training , basic education, family health and agriculture as well as advisory services to key government institutions. 
Dr. Volker Ducklau, Director General in the Federal Ministry of Economic Cooperation and Development, who recently visited Yemen, said that Germany regards Yemen as a strong and reliable partner with whom it is a pleasure to work.
