Gandhi School in Aden Celebrates Student Day [Archives:2000/19/Local News]

On the occasion of ‘Student Day’, an art and theatrical ceremony was held at Mahatma Gandhi School in Aden. Yemeni and foreign singing and play shows were presented by Yemeni children. Students’ parents have also given addresses in which they expressed their admiration of the school administration and improvement of their sons educational level.
This successful event reflects the positive role played by the staff of the school for taking care of those small children. The students learn English, Arabic, and religious sciences. The school consists of five classrooms. Now they are planning to open other two classrooms next September, 2000. There are qualified Indian staff who teach different levels. Further, they train students how to use computer.
