General Franks Concludes Visit [Archives:2001/34/Front Page]

The Commander of US Forces in the Gulf, General Tommy Franks, left Yemen last Wednesday after holding talks with President Saleh about American and Yemeni military cooperation. However, there has been no confirmation of what kind of military cooperation both men were contemplating. 
A press release by the US Embassy in Sana’a said Yemen’s good cooperation in issues of mutual interest had helped boost the dialogue between the US and Yemen.
