German National Day Celebrated in Sanaa [Archives:1999/40/Local News]

The embassy of Germany held yesterday a festival at the Ambassador residence to celebrate the 50 anniversary of the German National Day which meets the 3rd of October. The event was attended by a number of diplomats, intellectuals, and media people.
Moreover, the German Embassy in Sanaa held a ceremony at the Sheraton on Thursday, September 30 to celebrate the Munich Oktober Festival which is the biggest public festival in the world and was held this year for the 166th time.
