Germany Commits Additional funds to Yemen [Archives:1999/37/Local News]

During the visit of Mr. U. Schuy, of the Germany Ministry of Defense to Yemen, it was agreed on Sept. 9, 1999 that the German government would contribute an additional 500,000 DM, for the equipment of military hospitals, financed by the German Foreign Office. The agreement was signed by Mr. Schuy and Brigadier Sharaf, Deputy Chief of Staff for Supplies, at the Ministry of Defense.
