Graduation ceremony held [Archives:2003/667/Local News]

A graduation party was held last week by the Attaqamul Charitable Society in the field of computer. This is considered to be the second batch within the society's educational program.
The former batch was in the field of the women's dressmaking.
At the beginning of computer course trainees graduation ceremony the chairwoman of the society Hana Shamsan delivered a short address congratulating the graduates and reviewing the society's activities. She confirmed that the society's message was serving women and offering them various experiences especially illiteracy eradication and holding training courses on various useful professions and handicraft.
Several training courses are held in the fields of embroidery, sewing, first aids, as well as raising environmental awareness in order to enhance woman's role in society and taking care of family with regard to social, health and sport.
The graduation ceremony was attended by Mr. Ali Saleh Abdullah, the Social Affairs and Labor Ministry undersecretary, and two assistant undersecretaries of the same ministry Ms Nour Babbad, and Mr Lutfi Allaya in addition to deputy of the capital Secretariat Abdulmalik al-Ridha.
