Haddah Hotel joins Best Western [Archives:2002/26/Local News]

Haddah Hotel joined the international chain of Best Western hotels on June 13.
An agreement was signed between Mr. Tawfeeq al-Khamiri, chairman of the board of directors of the Yemen Hotels & Investment Co., owner of the hotel and Mr. Anand S. Gupta, Chief Executive Officer of Best Western South Asia.
We have selected Best Western, which has a long experience in hotel management to cope with the new changes in Yemen, said al-Khamiri.
He added that there would be a joint venture project with Best Western in the near future.
The Best Western will rehabilitate the Haddah Hotel according to its standards of international hotels.
Al-Khamiri asserted that the Best Western operation within the Yemeni market will boost tourism industry and build new hotels.
With this new agreement, the name of Haddah Hotel has been changed into Best Western Haddah Hotel.
