Handover of Solar power stations [Archives:2004/723/Local News]

A press release by the German embassy in Sana'a invited on March 22 Yemeni media to attend on 24 March a ceremony held on handing over solar power station donated by Germany to the Republic of Yemen. The press release added that the German Government attaches great importance to the subject of renewable energy of which solar energy and solar power stations form an integral part. The above mentioned solar stations are a good example of what can be achieved when using solar power.
