The Environmental Health Department has carried out comprehensive inspection campaigns this week, targeting markets, groceries, restaurants and other commercial premises targeting the sale of expired products. Expired food was confiscated, the consumption of which, present a grave risk of disease. The Yemen Times is preserving samples of the confiscated food materials which will be discussed in articles in forthcoming issues on the risks to health expired food poses.
