Hiroshima Mama [Archives:2003/671/Culture]
By Faisal Hadi Al-Azzani
On the 58th anniversary of the Japanese two cities, Hiroshima and Nagazaki Disaster of the 2nd world war
When the grief dies, on the lips
And the tongues never talk
And the eyes sink in tears
People should strive
So, never forget Hiroshima Mama
Never
Once, before so many years
Three years, before I was born
A peaceful city has fallen in tears
And from the earth was blown
A great explosion was happened
As if the sun fallen upon the earth
Thousands of victims were killed
Shouts of pain and silence of death
Hiroshima Mama was destroyed
Innocent people died everywhere
Our Japanese friends fallen dead
Bloods, bodies here and there
In Nagazaki, a few days later
A new Massacre was savagely repeated
An American new bomb of nuclear
It was horrible, unfair and unjustified
It was really a historical mistake
Never should be happened again
Never, never, for God's sake
Viva Hiroshima Mama once again
And forever
