Hodeidah Summer Shopping Festival Opens [Archives:2003/656/Community]

Hodeidah – Yemen Economic Corporation has opened Hodeidah summer festival last Thursday. The festival which covers the period 31 July-10 August, was held at the big exhibition hall of the city.
The governor of Hodeidah Mohammed Saleh Shamlan has opened the festival.
Mr Abdulhameed al Sofi, deputy director general of the economic establishment of Hudeid told YT that opening of the festival coincided with president Saleh's jubilee year in office. About twenty trading companies participate in the festival, exhibiting electronic machines, food products and furniture.
