ICARDA Chief Visits Yemen [Archives:1998/23/Local News]

Mr. Adel Al-Baltaji, the General Manager of the International Center for Agricultural Research in the Dry Areas (ICARDA) is to visit Yemen during 8-12 June. Meeting with senior Yemeni officials, Mr. Al-Baltaji aims to assess the success of the two-year-old cooperation between Yemen and his organization.
ICARDA is one of 16 centers supported by the Consultative Group on International Research (CGIAR), which is an international group of representatives of donor agencies, eminent agricultural scientists and international administrators from developed and developing countries.
