Imtac Yemen Gas Factory Inaugurated [Archives:2001/25/Local News]

Under the patronage of HE General Abdrabo Mansour Hadi, Vice-President of the Republic, Imtac Yemen Gas Factory was inaugurated last wednesday at the premises of the company at Al-Rawda near the airport. Minister of Public Health and Chairman of Investment Authorities attended the ceremony. The chairman of the factory is Mr. Haitham Al-Aini, and Mr. Ashok Sardiwal is the representative of Imtac LLC in cooperation with the whole staff of Imtac Yemen Gas Co Ltd. intend to have the establishment certified to ISO 9000 within the coming years and a half.
The gas-plant is an Omani-Yemeni joint venture established to supply medical grade oxygen to all hospitals affiliated with the Ministry of Health. The Company is considered the first of its kind in Yemen and is 100% environment-friendly.
