Aden Hotel privatized
The Aden Hotel was auctioned off on May 12 in order to raise US $8 million.
Al-Kuthairi Investment Group that bought the hotel, could encompass the most famous international hotels in the world.
The hotel has high standards, being a 5-star facility.
It was built in 1981 and officially inaugurated in 1983. It has 82 rooms.
It is fully equipped with up-to-date facilities.
New electricity projects
About YR 96 million has been spent to implement new hydro projects including the al-Janad-al-Matar electricity project.
A number of hydro projects in Taiz have been successfully implemented in cities, districts and villages such as, Mashraa a, Hadanan, Taiz and Aden, Arraheda and Attorba.
More than YR 8 billion was allocated for implementing electricity projects.
US $17 million for
energy projects
The third energy project has been inaugurated in Aden at the cost US $17 million, financed by International Development Organization.
YR 500 million has also been allotted by the government to finance the energy project.
It includes installing five transferring stations in Krater City and al-Mansoura.
