Half million people visit Yemen wing in Zaragoza 2008 Expo

Some 450,000 people have visited Yemeni wing in the International Zaragoza 2008 Expo since its opening in mid of last month.

Director of Gold Beach Company Hassan al-Faran told Saba that around 80,000 persons visited the wing during two days ago, most of them are Spanish.Participation of Yemen in the exhibition would attract further Spanish tourists and investors to Yemen.

Yemen currently is displaying its heritage of natural resources management at the exhibition in Spain under the slogan “Water and Sustainable Development.””

Spanish media has been quoted as saying that a million guests are expected to visit the event.

Some 104 countries also are participating in the event.
