In Hodiedah: Health sewerage rehabilitation on the way [Archives:2003/657/Local News]
Hodiedah_ Preparations are in full swing to implement the Phase I on August 15, the rehabilitation the Hodiedah sewerage network at the cost of USD 15 million and the 15 km long.
The Hodiedah rehabilitation project includes the replacement of discontinued main lines, rehabilitating 3 pumping water stations, i.e. the central treatment stations.
Eng. Ibraheem Mahdi, the manager of the Water & H health Sewerage Authority in the Hodiedah Governorate said that temporary sewerage treatments was conducted by the authority after a complete paralyzing of the previous sewerage lines.
A US company was entrusted to conduct programs, surveys and studies till the year 2025 where it will be implemented in phases.
The overall estimation of the project has totaled to USD 240 million.
Mr. Mahdi noted further that the first phase is to be implemented by the Arrehab Company.
