Inauguration of first phase of the President’s Project [Archives:2004/739/Local News]

Tuesday, 18 May 2004, Taiz- Mayor of Taiz, Judge Ahmed Al-Hajry, and Eng. Adnan Al-Kasous, Director of the Public Telecommunication Corporation, Taiz Branch attended the celebration held at the Hall of Al-Saeed Forum, organized by the Public Telecommunication Corporation, Taiz Branch on the occasion of nearing 14th anniversary of the unification, and on the occasion of the inauguration of the first phase of the President's project to increase the use of computers. 276 personal computers were distributed to administrative employees of 20 offices at the corporation, the cost of which would be paid in easy monthly installments.
During the celebration 22 employees were honored as excellent workers at the corporation, including 8 who were retiring.
Sheikh Ali Al-Magdashi, Assistant Undersecretary of the Governorate, and Mr. Shawgy Hayel, Chairman of the Planning and Development Committee at the Local Council, also attended the celebration.
