Increase in theValue of Investment Projects Executed in Taiz [Archives:2001/04/Business & Economy]

Investment projects executed in Taiz during 2000 reached more than twenty projects, with a total value exceeding YR 2,483 million. These projects also provided employment to more than 422,000 Yemeni worker in various specializations. Among the 20 projects, three were service and agriculture projects and the rest were various industrial projects.
On another level, the number of Yemenis benefiting from the social fund project in Taiz reached more than 36,000 citizens with a total exceeding 177 million spent in favor of the Taiz community on a quarterly basis.
