It happens in Yemen for the first time. The south Sanaa court headed by Qadhi Yahya Al-Aslamy on Saturday September 12 issued a decision in favor of Dr. Ahmed Al-Qaseer against Dr. Raofa Hasan. Dr. Al-Qaseer filed a case against Dr. Raofa who omitted the name of Al-Qaseer from the work he translated putting her name instead; she also changed the translation of some words and scientific idioms. This is a good step for the Yemeni judicial system towards protecting the intellectual property.
