Interagency Demining Group [Archives:1999/45/Local News]

Robert M. Beecroft, Deputy Assistant Secretary for Political and Military Affairs in the Department of State, and Chair of the Interagency Working Group on Humanitarian Demining, paid a visit to the Humanitarian Demining Training camp and a minefield in Aden to get a first-hand view of the progress made by the Yemen Humanitarian Demining Program last Saturday. Yesterday afternoon, Mr. Beecroft held a press conference for local, Arab Foreign journalist and corespondents in Sana’a.
