International Conference on Women Challenges [Archives:1999/37/Local News]

The International Conference on Challenges for Women’s Studies in the 21st Century, was kicked off yesterday.
The conference which will continue all August, was attended by a good number of participants from 26 countries. The important event will be enriched with the discussion of around 52 papers. Dr. Raoofa Hassan, Executive Director of the Empirical Research of Women’s Studies Center at Sana’a University and host of the conference, stated in her speech that the Center would sign various agreements with relative centers in other countries, in order to boost the studies of women in Yemen.
