Internet course for journalists [Archives:2002/24/Local News]

With the view of training journalists on making use of the new information technology advances, the Yemen Journalist Syndicate (YJS) in cooperation with the Ministry of Telecommunications organized a training course May 6 for 48 journalists.
Mahboob Ali, YJS chairman, stated that the syndicate will organize several other courses for journalists to familiarize them with the different press related technologies.
Abdulmalik al-Mualimi, Minister of Telecommunication, at the inaugural ceremony, pointed out that the Ministry would continue to organize such courses for pressmen in order to develop their information technology skills and knowledge
