Int’l Humanitarian Law Published in a Book [Archives:2001/45/Local News]

A book entitled “Symposium on International Humanitarian Law” was published in Arabic by the International Committee of the Red Cross in Yemen. The 123-page book, which also includes a 13-page annex in English language, tackles different issues such as supporting the implementation of mechanisms of international humanitarian law at the national level; updating the existing legislation related to humanitarian law; and enhancing the role of media in raising the awareness of people on international humanitarian law.
