Investment Press, Conference Put Off [Archives:2000/34/Local News]

The Chamber of Commerce and Industry in Sanaa has postponed investment press conference until Wednesday owing to the illness of Hussain Ali Al-Witari, chairman of the general federation of chambers of commerce and industry.
The conference was scheduled for Sunday. It will be attended by a number of MPs, advocates, academicians and businessmen. Discussions will center on premises of encouraging and attracting investments and importance of cooperation between private sector and the state to achieve the targeted goals. Moreover, a number of financial violations that affect investment process in our country will also be reviewed.
