Iran-Yemen sports cooperation to expand [Archives:2003/655/Local News]
Abu Dhabi, July 28, IRNA ) Iran and Yemen here on Sunday afternoon reviewed further expansion of sports cooperation between the two countries.
During a session of the two countries joint sports commission, attended by a delegation from Iran's Physical Education Organization and officials from Youth and Sports Ministry of Yemen, the two sides called for dispatch of coaches, construction of sports stadiums, and holding training courses for coaches and referees.
Holding an exhibition of sports products and instruments in Sana'a was among other topics discussed by the two sides.
Iran's Vice President and Head of Physical Education Organization Mohsen Mehralizadeh, heading a sports delegation, arrived in San'a on Saturday.
Presently, two Iranian Judo instructors are in Yemen to train the country's athletes.
