Iraqi Vice President leaves Yemen [Archives:2002/13/Local News]

Iraqi Vice-President Taha Yaseen Ramadhan left Sana’a after a 20-hour visit to Yemen. During his meeting with president Ali Saleh, the Iraqi vice president delivered a letter to the president from the president of Iraq, Saddam Hussein.
Several issues were discussed during the meeting including the possible strike against Iraq, Yemeni-Iraqi bilateral relations, the Palestinian issue as well as the preparations for the Arab summit in Beirut.
