Islah calls for boycotting parliament sessions [Archives:2004/720/Local News]

Islah Party, Hadramout Branch, called for standing firmly against the intolerable doses' policies adopted against the people.
The statement urged the citizens to stand by and to support the effective powers and the Opposition which favor lifting and ending of suffering of pain and hunger of million of our people.
It called on the people to be aware of the seriousness of the situation and the economic and social consequences and to utilize all possible peaceful means to reject this dose. It also called on the PGC block, the ruling party, in the parliament, to bear their historic responsibility.
The Government intends introducing a new dose, to increase prices of oil derivatives by more than 100%, which would lead to additional costs and suffering and a heavy burden to sustain somewhat a dignified living condition for a citizen.
