An Italian medical team headed by Prof., Pruno Mirsi of the Italian Higher Institute has recently arrived in Yemen to conduct open heart surgery on children. The team is expected to conduct 26 heart operations.
In another story, Prime Minister Abdulqadir Bajammal met with an industrial delegation led by the Italian Minster of Industry on June fourth. Aspects of bilateral relations between the two countries were discussed during these meetings. This delegation is currently visiting Yemen.
