Japan Supports Gamhuriah TB Wards [Archives:2000/41/Local News]

The Government of Japan will support Aden Health Office by extending a financial grant for the improvement of Tuberculosis wards in Al-Gumhuria General Hospital in Aden.
An agreement to this effect was signed at the Ministry of Public Heath on October 3, 2000 by Dr. Osama Badeeb, Aden TB Coordinator and Mr. Akira Hoshi, Ambassador of Japan to Yemen. The grant totaling US$76,110 will be provided to procure equipment and to improve the TB wards in Al-Gumhuria General Hospital in Aden.
