Journalist Assailed [Archives:2000/33/Local News]

Attorney General, Abdullah Abdullah Al-Olufi demanded chairman of the South West court to look into the complaint of journalist Mustaffa Nassr of Al-Sahwah raised by the Allaw Association. Mustaffa was making a report on private jails when he came under assault by director of the second district of the Housing Ministry, Mr. Aaydh Al-Shamiri.
In this context, Al-Sahwah newspaper sent a letter of complaint to the Journalists Syndicate which responded by urging Minister of Housing, Mr. Abdullah Hussein Al-Dafai to take action against the attacker.
