The British Embassy in Sanaa is financing and implementing a number of projects in the field of human rights in 1999. Two 2-week training sessions for judges and other people involved in the judicial process on human rights, national and International laws and their applications in the courtroom are scheduled for February/March 1999.
The aim is to increase awareness of human rights and the roles of those involved in the judicial process.
