Kings of bone-setting introduced [Archives:2002/27/Health]

No one can ignore the family name Musabin especially those involved with setting bones. This name has attracted the attention of Arab, Soviet, Chinese and European doctors. Doctors have visited Aden over the last few decades to adopt the methods of setting bones skillfully applied by this family.
The Musabin family has practiced their trade loyally and faithfully in a new one-story building on the Sheikh Othman lanes near al-Wahda Sports Club. As a matter of fact, this noble family represented by Hussein al-Musabi and formerly by Abdulkareem has helped thousands of patients not for money but to decrease suffering and pain. People are treated whether poor, rich, elderly or young. The Musabin family believe their reward is the patients recovery and they feel happy when the patient leaves smiling without pain. The  money paid is a secondary matter, just as long as the price of bandages and ointments used in treatment are covered. In order to enjoy this service, the Musabin family should be supported practically by officials (specially in Aden), not just by praise. This will create a good relationship with this family and the health office and college of medicine in Aden. Supplying equipment, chairs and waiting room space for patients will make treatment more comfortable for all concerned.
This will be a simple way to thank a family that has served patients silently for a long time. It will also honor not only the Kings of bone setting in Yemen but also our noble moral principles.
