Kuwaiti Minister of Information due in Sana’a [Archives:2001/31/Front Page]

A high-ranking Kuwaiti delegation is due in Sana’a headed by the Minister of Information, Fahad Al-Ahmad Al-Sabah, who will inaugurate the activities of the Kuwaiti cultural week in Yemen from the 4th to the 10th of August. The cultural week will include the following activities:
– Inaugurating the Kuwaiti cultural week
– Musical party to be performed by the Kuwaiti National Band
– Inaugurating the exhibition of the Kuwaiti plastic arts, the photographic photos exhibition and the book exhibition
– Lectures and a theatrical performance
These cultural activities and exhibitions reflect deep-rooted Yemeni-Kuwaiti relations. The aim of these events is to bring together Yemeni and Kuwaiti artists and intellectuals. It is noteworthy that this is the first Kuwaiti festival in Yemen since the unilateral break-off of relations between the two countries.
