Law and Society, Symposium [Archives:2000/19/Local News]

The General Center for Studies, Publications and Research organized a 2-day symposium on Law and Society.The event was attended by Prime Minister Dr. Abdul Karim Al-Iryani, members of the consultative council and a number of MPs. In his speech on the occasion, Dr. Iryani highlighted the importance of enhancing law in society. Importance of law in attaining stability in society was also illustrated by Mr. Ahmad Al-Shara’abi, chairman of the center. Advocate Yasin Abdul Razaq made a speech on behalf of the participants. The symposium is to be concluded today after the discussion of a number of working papers.
