The National Committee for supporting the Islamic and Arab issues filed a suit against the government in an attempt to ban Israeli commercial goods into the Yemeni markets. Some sources said that Jews living in Palestine have no right to enter Yemen even with a valid passport. The General Secretary of the committee, Saeed Alareeki, handed over the suit to the Head of the Court, Mansour al-Argali. The case provides evidence on the crimes committed against the defenseless Palestinians and the number of Israeli products flooding the country’s markets. It also highlighted that some new products, such as insecticides, killed tens of people in the Hajja governorate. The legal case urges the government to stop importing any Israeli products and to punish those who do not do so.
