Legal Delegation Goes to Saudi [Archives:1998/23/Local News]

A Yemen delegation is went to Saudi Arabia on 2 June to discuss the border issue. It is headed by the Minister of Legal and Parliamentarian Affairs and includes the Minister of Justice, the Secretary-General of the Presidential Office, the Director of the Border Directorate in the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, and the Deputy President of the Surveying Authority. The demarcation of the border according to the 1934 Tayif agreement between the two countries is on top of the delegation’s agenda.
