Mahboob Ali Escaped an Attack [Archives:1999/50/Local News]

In the last meeting of the Journalists Syndicate held yesterday, an attack was attempted on its president, Mr. Mahboob Ali, by his colleague Mutahar Al-Ashmouri due to disputes over the Syndicate affairs. Yemen Times has heard that the Syndicate is on the view that Al-Ashmouri should be sacked. On another level, it has been heard that Al-Ashmouri had resigned form his post as a chief editor of Al-Riadhah newspaper.
