Management workshop in Taiz [Archives:2005/813/Local News]

A joint meeting between the Chamber of Industry and Commerce (CIC), Taiz branch and World Bank representatives was held to discuss the program of executing 'Business Edge: 38 Management Workshops'.

The meeting was attended by Mufeed Abdu Saif, General Manager of Taiz CIC, and Adnan Abdullah Saleh, Chamber's Consultant, and Mr. Michel Botzung, Business development Services Manger of North Africa Enterprise Development (NAED), Mamber of the World Bank Group and Mr. Sa'ad Abdullah Sabra, Member of the World Bank Group.

This program is concerned with the World Bank finance of the five dimensions in the field of a series of books on Human Resources Management:

1. Human Resources Management

2. Finance and Accounting

3.General and Operations Management

4. Marketing Management

5. Personal Productivity Skills

The participants in this program will receive various experiences in internationally adopted techniques. This came as a support for the partnership between the World Bank Programs and Yemen serving development.

This program was planned to start in the beginning of this year 2005 in the light of the activities of coordination by the Chamber of Industry and Commerce in Taiz with the International Organizations.
