Medicine in lorry set on fire [Archives:2003/642/Local News]

A lorry filled with medicine and medical equipment burst into flames last week while it was on its way from the Health Ministry in Sana'a to al-Mahra governorate loaded with items to be used by the ministry's office in al-Mahra.
Fire devastated all the equipment and the drugs that belonged to the office. The lorry that the ministry had just bought was completely charred and the fire cost the ministry YR 12 million of loss from public money.
An investigation had already started but so far, the reason behind the fire was still unknown to the time of going to the press.
