The Indonesian Ambassador to Yemen held a meeting on August 19 in Sana’a with 42 Yemeni businessmen to give an idea about the 17th Indonesian Exports exhibition 2002, scheduled to be held during 16-20 October in Sanaa.
It is expected that the coming exhibition will be one of the largest international exhibitions of its kind to be held in Yemen. This will be second Indonesian exhibition to be held in Yemen after an Indonesian Export Exhibition was held in 1986. It is worth mentioning that Yemeni-Indonesian cooperation is witnessing noticeable development and the commercial exchange between the two countries amounted at $89.58 millions in 2001, with most of it resembling goods imported from Indonesia as the total amount of imported goods reached about $88.58 millions in 2001 as well.
