Minister of State in the German  Foreign Office in Yemen [Archives:2000/10/Local News]

The Minister of State in the German Foreign Office, Dr. Christoph Zpel, arrived in Yemen on Thursday 2. During the visit Dr. Zpel will call upon President Ali Abdullah Saleh, Speaker of Parliament Sheikh Abdulah Ben Hussain Al-Ahmar, Prime Minister Dr. Abdulkarim Al-Iryani and Foreign Minister Abdulkader Bajammal to discuss Yemen relations with Germany and Europe as well as questions related to the region.
Dr. Zpel, member of the German Parliament since 1999, has visited Yemen several times.
